Greetings!
Marian has been full of "good news" to share this past month. The Marian girls celebrated Catholic Schools Week; the varsity basketball team won their first game of the season; Board Chairwoman, Mary Jo Gorman, was nominated by Modern Healthcare as one of the "50 Most Influential Physician Executives in Healthcare"; and 7th grader Nadeya M.'s poem "What and Why" was chosen for publication by Public Power. Marian is grateful to our supporters who make it possible to Educate Girls for Life. |

High School Volunteers at Marian
|
After weeks of service, four SLUH seniors have just completed their senior project at Marian Middle. Dominic wrote of his experience, "We learned patience, and we learned love, both how to love in service and how to receive love which we were certainly given." Follow this link to read more about our high school volunteers and their time at Marian.

Graduate News: College Bound
|
Thanks to Kaitlyn Sanders, our College Readiness Officer, for organizing a great event on Saturday, January 26th to benefit our alumnae. With assistance from the staff at College Bound, freshmen were offered advice on choosing college prep high school courses, while the sophomores and juniors learned how to improve their ACT scores. Seniors worked on finishing their college applications and started the financial aid process by filling out the FAFSA. Marian alumnae from 12 different schools were represented at the event.
