Invest in Her Future / Annual Appeal 2012
Ana, a first-generation college freshman, is a great example of a Marian graduate. She is a dedicated student who works part-time, and gives back by mentoring Marian girls in the after-school enrichment program. Read her story, and others to learn about how your investment makes a difference.

Marian Novelists in the National Young Writers Program
According to the Young Writers Program, November is a month to embrace your inner novelist. Marian Middle's language arts teacher, Maggie Klonsky, challenged her students to finish writing a novel in 30 days. Maggie notes that her students "had individual goals ranging from 10,000 to 50,000 words. Throughout the month, the girls worked in pull-out groups during portions of their language arts classes. Admirably, they also dedicated hours of writing outside of class in order to meet their individual goals." Read more about how this national project impacted writing at Marian, and enjoy some exceptional writing.
