SUNDAY LETTER - NOVEMBER 22, 2015
MESSAGE FROM HEAD OF SCHOOL
With Thanks

As we head towards Thanksgiving, my favorite American holiday, I find I have more to be thankful for this year than ever before.

I am thankful to you for sharing and trusting us with your children for their education, and for your understanding of, and faith in, the way we do things inside and outside the classrooms at RHP and Ren. And I am thankful for the pleasure I get from interacting with your children each day.

I am thankful for the colleagues I get to work with on this campus. We are continually looking to become better and better at what we do. A spirit of growth and improvement informs everything we do. Our faculty and board are forward-looking in continually upgrading and enhancing the curriculum and improving and expanding our facilities. And I am thankful to work with people I very much enjoy being around.

Finally, I am thankful for my health. Although it may have taken a significant scare this year to heighten my awareness, I have become keenly aware not to take this important part of life for granted. I wake up each morning with a renewed appreciation for the day ahead.

Each day brings me here to a community, the extended Husky family. And I end each day all the better for the experience.

Thank you, and Happy Thanksgiving!

Peter

DECEMBER DISCOVERY DAYS
The next set of Discovery Days is the first week of December! RSVP to Ryan Tillson at rtillson@rollinghillsprep.org.

The admission season for the 2016-2017 school year is underway and as always, we need all the help we can get from our current families in spreading the word. Below are the upcoming events and hope each family can send along the information to friends, co-workers or anyone else they can think of that would have an interest in learning more about our programs.

During a Discovery Day, parents will have the opportunity to meet current faculty members, students, and administrators during a school day. Information on academic programs, admission, financial assistance, and extracurricular programs will also be provided.

As we enter the admission season, we would like to remind all RHP and Renaissance families who have siblings currently not attending one of our schools, that we would love the opportunity of speaking with you in detail about the application process.
Siblings have priority at both schools.

RSVPs should be sent to Ryan Tillson at rtillson@rollinghillsprep.org.

SENIOR SPEECH: BENSON WANG

I still remember the first time I heard about the senior speech, I said no. However, today I'm standing here to doing my senior speech. Reviewing the past 3 years, it's like a dream. When I just came to America, I was only 15 years old. That was a very interesting year, I was interested in everything about America because everything was so new to me. So I joined the football team that year but it was a huge mistake. Everything was different than what I expected. However, I lost 20 pounds by the end of the season and I figured the weight loss to be the only benefit...
