| FAMILY FUN STARTS OFF THE CHRISTMAS SEASON | | |
Holiday fun for the whole family begins here at the Victory YMCA with Breakfast with Santa at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 8th! Afterwards, parents may leave to finish their Christmas shopping while the kids stay to play "reindeer games", arts and crafts, and enjoy lunch.
Register for Breakfast with Santa and Elf Day at the Welcome Center. Breakfast is free with the donation of one new toy. The cost for Elf Day is $15/child for members and $20/child for non-members.
Don't forget to bring your camera to record these treasured moments.

Giving Tree
While you are shopping for friends and family this season, take the time to stop by our Giving Tree and make this Christmas special for a child in need. Just grab a tag and register at the Welcome Center. Then bring your unwrapped gift and the gift tag back to the Welcome Center. The children who receive these gifts are from the York County and Poquoson area. PDF
Can't think of something for that person who has everything? How about donating to the Giving Tree in their name!

Coats for Kids
Help make this a warmer winter for someone. The Victory Y is collecting gently-used coats of all sizes to distribute to local families. Donate your coats anytime beginning December 16.

POLAR PLUNGE
Save the date: January, 25, 2013!
Looking for a new way to start the New Year with A SPLASH? Come join the Camp Kekoka staff on January 5, 2013 for our 3rd annual POLAR BEAR PLUNGE! This unlikely event has brave participants of all ages plunging into the frigid waters of Indian Creek to raise money for the Guardian Program, a scholarship fund which ensures every child gets to experience Camp Kekoka regardless of their ability to pay. What better way to start off the New Year than by jumping into the freezing creek to give a kid a Camp K week?!
Plungers and sponsors are invited to warm-up afterward with hot soup, hot chocolate, and other assorted goodies.

| SHOWCASE YOUR BUSINESS AT THE Y | | Starting in 2013, the Victory Family YMCA will host quarterly Community Days for neighboring businesses to showcase their wares and services.
This event offers businesses in our community the opportunity to give out product samples, information packets, or offer demonstrations to advertise their business to the over 2,000 members who visit the YMCA daily.
We are happy to welcome large and small businesses from all sectors, as well as direct sales companies such as Mary Kay, 31, Pampered Chef, etc.
