MIET 2013 is COMING
June 17 - 21 at GFC MSU!
The 10th annual Montana Institute on Educational Technology (MIET) for Montana K-12 educators is coming this June 17 - 21, 2013.
Over the past nine years, MIET has welcomed hundreds of teachers, librarians and technologists from 147 Montana cities and towns! This year, we will have even more to offer including classes on Windows 8, Office 2013 plus four sessions presented by Microsoft. There will also be LIVE music by Pete's Little Big Band for the Vendor Reception on Tuesday, June 18th, along with a no-host bar and hors d'ouvres! (Not to mention the OPI renewal units or two graduate credits you could earn!)

Kids' College 2013
is right around the corner!
Summer is coming and with it comes Kids' College. This year we are planning 18 different classes for ages ranging from 8 and up. There will be fishing, sewing, cooking, woodworking, art, robotics, digital photography and MORE!

The Candy Making class is coming up March 26 from 6 - 9pm. Join Chef Julie Bass to learn how to make your own delicious candies! In teams, you will prepare at least three different recipes during class, learning confectionary techniques and secrets as you go. Abstract Painting

If you have ever admired  beautiful abstract art and wished you could create it, this is the class for you! Choose acrylic or oil paint and explore ways to communicate through abstract and symbolic design. You will develop beginning painting skills and techniques plus learn the basic elements of color, line and texture.
