The Pavilion Welcomes Back Boston June 17

Boston burst onto the music scene with their eponymous best-selling debut album in 1976 and never looked back. With more than 17 million copies sold, Boston generated hits such as "More Than a Feeling," "Peace of Mind," and "Smokin'," rock staples that are still in heavy rotation today. Their second effort, "Don't Look Back," was another chart-topper that confirmed their place in rock history, followed by "Third Stage," which hit No. 1 on the charts, with the top single "Amanda." With more than 31 million albums sold to date, their music has stood the test of time, as evidenced by live Boston audiences that span generations.

Tickets for the June 17 concert go on sale Friday, March 14.
Goo Goo Dolls and Daughtry Rock The Pavilion June 27

The Goo Goo Dolls and Daughtry hit the road in June for a summer amphitheater and arena tour. The Plain White T's are the special guests. The tour stops at The Pavilion on June 27. Tickets go on sale Saturday, March 22 at 10 a.m.

"We are excited to finally be teaming up with Daughtry," said John Rzeznik, Goos vocalist-guitarist. "Not only are we big fans of Chris, but we think this is going to be a huge party for the fans of both our bands. The combination of the two will make for an awesome summer night of great American rock music."

"We are huge fans of the Goo Goo Dolls and have wanted to tour with them for a long time now," said Chris Daughtry, lead singer. "Everyone will see more than two great bands on stage. They're going to get an incredible show every night and have a summer to remember." More Information
 Chicago Returns with REO Speedwagon
for  18th Concert at The Pavilion

Legendary rock bands REO Speedwagon and Chicago kick off a co-headlining tour this summer with a stop at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion Aug. 29. Tickets go on sale on Saturday, March 15 at 10 a.m.

"It's ironic, that these two legendary bands, who both have roots in Illinois, were label-mates (Columbia/Epic) in the 70's, and experienced waves of immense success in the 80's and 90's, and have somehow continued to consistently make compelling music, both in-studio and on tour.... have never before performed together!" said Robert Lamm of Chicago. "This situation is about to change, as Chicago and REO will perform together during the concert's encore and present a finale that will thrill their audiences."  More Information
Linkin Park and 30 Seconds to Mars
Take The Pavilion Stage Sept. 5

The Carnivores Tour hits The Pavilion Friday, Sept. 5. Tickets are on sale now. The multi-platinum bands bring an unforgettable night of music featuring some of the biggest rock and alternative radio hits from the past decade.

In explaining the unusual name of the tour, co-lead singer of Linkin Park Mike Shinoda said, "Carnivores is a metaphor that is meant to convey an appetite for something visceral and substantive, and I feel that's exactly the hunger this tour will feed."

Jared Leto of 30 Seconds to Mars adds, "we are so excited to join our friends on this epic journey. It's going to be the adventure of a lifetime." More Information
