Join Us for a Concert 65 Million Years in the Making with Symphony of Dinosaurs!

Get ready for an earth-shaking adventure that takes you back to pre-historic times with The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion's Symphony of Dinosaurs! featuring the Houston Symphony April 18. Musical selections include pieces such as John Williams' theme from "Jurassic Park." Tickets are $15 for orchestra seating. Mezzanine and lawn seating are free courtesy of Anadarko Petroleum Corporation. Tickets are not required for free seating. Gates open 5:30 p.m. for the free Hats Off to Reading event and at 6 p.m. for other pre-concert activities.

Starting at 5:30 p.m., kids are invited to join the fun at the Hats Off to Reading Celebration in The Pavilion's House of Blues Hospitality Tent. Hats Off to Reading is a free event sponsored by the Reading Odyssey Committee, a community coalition that encourages students to develop a lifelong love of reading. Children can take home a free book courtesy of CISD and Scholastic Book Fairs, and participate in activities kids love.

Fall in love with the performing arts with The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion's 2013 Performing Arts Season. Showcased this season are nine exhilarating Houston Symphony performances, including the last concert conducted by Hans Graf, who enters his final season as Music Director of the Houston Symphony after 12 years at the helm.

Other thrilling concerts this season include The Music of Michael Jackson, The Planets - An HD Odyssey, Bugs Bunny at the Symphony II as well as Star-Spangled Salute, Hocus Pocus Pops and Holly Jolly Symphony Spectacular. Patrons also can delight in Houston Ballet's performance of the full-length production of a true love story with "Madame Butterfly" as well as the Texas Music Festival Orchestra featuring talented young artists. Returning to The Pavilion stage after eight years is Houston Grand Opera for one of the greatest love stories ever told with "La bohème."

Purchasing a season subscription is one of the easiest and most meaningful ways to support The Pavilion and its mission, which is to present a diverse offering of performing arts, develop audiences for the arts and foster a greater appreciation for the arts.

At $175 per seat, you receive VIP orchestra-level seating, Woodforest Bank Club access and VIP parking for nine Houston Symphony, Houston Ballet and Houston Grand Opera performances, as well as preferred seating for the free Texas Music Festival Orchestra and the Houston Symphony's Star-Spangled Salute. You can use your season tickets for yourself, your family, friends, clients or colleagues.
