When Dave Matthews Band performs at Cynthia Woods Mitchll Pavilion on May 17, it will be the 20th time that the band has graced our stage in The Woodlands. The concert is the first stop in the band's summer 2013 tour.

Having performed at The Pavilion so many times has left a lasting impression on many of our guests. Here's what fans are saying when we asked them to share their favorite moments with Dave Matthews Band:

"One of my favorite memories is from their show in 2006 seeing them in a light rainstorm and thinking 'I will never forget this for the rest of my life!'" -
Melanie Busa Nowaski

"You can't explain it, you just gotta go and feel it for yourself." - Travis Addington

"I've seen them since 2004 at the Pavilion each year. Probably the best concert was the one right after hurricane Katrina. Dave was so grateful to Houston helping New Orleans and voiced his appreciation numerous times." - Scott Berner

"I've been to many DMB shows but my wife's first time was in 2007. She instantly became a fan. Yeah, she heard the CDs but seeing live is a totally different experience. Favorite experience would be watching my favorite person watching my favorite band." - Samuel Villa

"When I got a drum stick from Carter, a finger point from Boyd and Tim, and the pick that Dave closed 'All Along The Watchtower' with all at one show. Last show I went to because I know it won't ever be better than that." - Zachary Celeste

"There's something about waiting on the grass at the pavilion, drinking a cold beer and the anticipation of waiting for Dave Matthews to come on stage. Music is powerful and Dave sets the mood for any situation. Cheers to May 17!! 2013!!" - Justin Rios

"When they played in a bad rainstorm before the pavilion was expanded...it was lightening pretty badly and they had a camera on one of the trees on the hill. It was like they were playing to the storm. It was the first time I saw them live and it was breathtakingly amazing." - Jennifer Sloan

"LOVE DMB! I've been a fan since forever. My favorite DMB concert was in 2009, my then fiancé proposed to me at the concert while they played 'You & Me'. The movement of that moment blossomed my destiny with the love of my soul ...a feeling I will cherish forever. I have Dave Matthews to thank for that. I dream of thanking him personally while biking our beautiful Woodlands." - Edith Mayela Hale
