On Sunday, June 15th, internationally touring folk reggae musician Justin Ancheta joins alternative rockers The Blondies and folk rock band Muir Valley Settlers to perform at the Downtown Berkeley Eats, Beats & Brews block party, which also features an outdoor beer garden by Drakes Brewing and delicious food from around the world. The internationally acclaimed Justin Ancheta Band plays an eclectic style of reggae-flavored funk and jazz with mixed musical backgrounds, including classical, flamenco, reggae, latin, funk, and rock, bringing a new style of indie folk known as 'Folklyrico Americana.'
The Blondies play a progressive alternative retro rock similar to The Beatles and The Rolling Stones. Muir Valley Settlers are an acoustic indie/folk rock band whose unique sound reflects the new indie rock movement. Their catchy guitar melodies and vocal harmonies will leave you singing and humming throughout the night. DJ Chetta-MoBetta will spin between bands and in the beginning, so get there early to get your mid-day drink on, and chill with some good tunes, maybe even dance!
Eats, Beats & Brews showcases Center Street restaurants serving over 15 different international cuisines. On June 15th, noon to 6pm, Eats Beats and Brews features Cancun Sabor Mexicano food booth and Bacon Bacon San Francisco food truck serving everything from bacon fried chicken to bacon grilled cheese sandwiches.

 | June 1st - Fito Reinoso and Ritmo y Armonia and DJ Antonio Chavez's latin beats transformed Center Street into a packed salsa club, enticing everyone to to shake their hips and grab a partner for a turn or two, filling the street with dancers! |
 | June 1st - Triple Rock Brewery loaded their green pickup truck with a couple of kegs and poured four of their most amazing beers: Tumblewheat, Small Talk, Pinnacle, and Titanium. Alongside was Drake's Brewing, Triple Rock's sister brewery based in San Leandro, which served India Pale Ale and Hefeweizen. All six of these beers were tapped out twice before the event even ended! |

June 8th - Into the Pacific delighted the crowd at with their unique indie rock sound that was both catchy and soulful. Their songs such as Hold Fast, One in the Same, and From the Start were a hit, along with their renditions of the Lumineer's Ho Hey and Capital Cities' Safe and Sound, which will be released later this summer.

 | June 8th - Games of Berkeley brought board games and a miniature shooting range for kids. Parents and children lined up, picked their weapon of choice, and shot Nerf darts at Storm Trooper dolls and a chalk target. Whoever vanquished the mini Storm Troopers walked away with fun prizes courtesy of Games of Berkeley. It was a blast for all ages! |
