The goBerkeley Employee Benefits Program is providing free one-year AC Transit bus passes and/or deeply discounted City Carshare memberships to Downtown Berkeley businesses.
goBerkeley is a three year federally-funded pilot partnership between the City of Berkeley, AC Transit and City Carshare to improve parking and transportation, and to encourage alternatives to commuting by private vehicle.
Contact goBerkeley@CityofBerkeley.info by April 19th if you are interested in enrolling your business in this program. Open enrollment will start in May 2013.

When a 6.9 earthquake strikes Berkeley, will you know what to do? Basic disaster skills save lives! Be part of a citywide exercise in your own neighborhood to learn how to prepare for a real emergency. All individuals or community groups are encouraged to participate regardless of their level of CERT training or previous participation in City disaster preparedness activities. Register yourself as an individual, as a neighborhood group, or as an organization to be an official participant for the 2013 exercise.
