This new casual and inviting restaurant specializes in gourmet ravioli, and also showcases polenta dishes, with a menu focusing on local, seasonal ingredients. Belli offers an all-Italian wine list with local beer on tap - authentically Italian with a California twist.

Last week, Fresco Mexican Grill opened in Downtown Berkeley, focusing on fast and fresh Mexican food. Fresco serves all the Mexican staples of burritos, tacos, and quesadillas, and will soon feature Mexican sandwiches, as well as breakfast burritos. Husband and wife team, Reza and Mondona Ehtesabi opened their new restaurant in Downtown particularly because of the vibrant community and foot traffic, and welcome the Downtown community to stop by for lunch or dinner!

The Danse Lumière company will preview in open rehearsal Secrets on the Way, our new work-in-progress inspired by the poetry of Nobel Prize winner Tomas Tranströmer. The performance features readings by Earll Kingston, followed by a discussion and reception with the performers. The full performance is planned for April 2013. Tickets may be purchased at the door (seating is limited).
