Here are the initial results from the chapter elections:

  

Under 50 Representative

On Jan. 27, Bro. Joe Markel, Ms. Pat Stephens and I opened and counted the ballots for the representative for the Under 50 cohort. We received 10 valid ballots out of a possible 13. The two brothers receiving the most votes were (5) Patrick McDaid and (4) Tom Farnsworth.

Others receiving votes were: (3) Sean Downing and Gobi Torres Nazario; (2) Robert Jones and Andrew Kosmowski; (1) Esteban Reyes Dur�n.   

Area of Texas Representative


On Feb. 3, Bro. Joe Markel, Ms. Pat Stephens and I opened and counted the ballots for the representative for the Area of Texas. We received 80 total ballots. Of these, 69 were valid ballots, two were partial ballots and nine were blank. The brothers receiving the highest number of votes were (34) Mike O'Grady and (20) Tim Eden.

Others receiving votes were: (12) Tim Pieprzyca; (7) Richard Dix; (5) Joe Grieshaber, Jim Tobin and Rudy Vela; (4) William Behringer, John Manahan, Richard Thompson and Richard Villa; (3) Paul Bredestege, Fred Halwe, Richard Loehrlein and George Montague; (2) Jim Jaeckle and Al Kuntemeier; (1) James Burkholder, Donald Cahill, Hugh Charlson, Michael Galvin, Kenneth Jung, Bernard Lee, Edward Loch, Earl Leistikow, Jerome Matz, Eugene Meyerpeter, Franz Schorp, Richard Schrader, Tom Suda, Gerard Sullivan, Michael Sullivan, David Quigle and Richard Wosman.  

Next Election

Materials for the runoff elections for the Under 50 representative and the representative for the Area of Texas will be mailed out to all members early next week. We congratulate the nominees and thank Patrick McDaid, Tom Farnsworth, Michael O'Grady and Tim Eden for their willingness to serve if elected.
