Dear Brothers:
LA CONGRESS
This past weekend many Marianists gathered for the Los Angeles Religious Education Congress, helping us share the charism at our "Marianist booth": Bro. Tom Wendorf and regional vocation coordinators, representatives from the Association of Marianist Universities, the Marianist Mission, the Marianist Sisters, the Marianist Family and the West Pine staff.
Our presence spanned five booths, attracting many visitors throughout the weekend event. Many thanks to all who helped with this endeavor and to all Marianist alums and friends who dropped by to say hello!
The annual Religious Education Congress is sponsored by the Archdiocese of Los Angeles Office of Religious Education. It is the nation's largest gathering of Roman Catholics, with attendance running around 40,000.
With fraternal affection,

Dear Brothers:
The razing of the Dayton novitiate at Mount St. John has begun. Bro. Jack Somerville shares with us a photo of the old living room.
Jack reports that "serious" demolition will occur around March 31. Work has been done to remove the wood floors, chapel windows, drop ceilings and all asbestos, and to isolate and reroute gas, water, electric, etc.
As the work progresses, we'll share more photos. Thanks, Jack, for your hard work.
