Dear Brothers:
This weekend, we received a letter from Fr. Manolo Cort�s, informing members of the Society of Mary that he has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. He is scheduled for surgery to remove the prostate on Nov. 6 in Madrid.
I ask each Province community to begin a novena of prayer for him on Oct. 29. This prayerful support by the members of the Province of the United States will be a great encouragement for him.
During his absence from the General Administration, Fr. Andr� F�tis, vicar general, will attend to the matters of the office.
