We received news this morning from Fr. Manuel Cort�s that Bro. Edward Violett has asked to be relieved of his position as Assistant General for Temporalities.

ST. JOSEPH

 

St. Joseph Catholic Community in Eldersburg, Md., has an opening for a full-time youth minister. St. Joseph's is a Marianist-sponsored parish of more than 3,000 families.

St. Joseph's seeks a candidate with a background in pastoral ministry and at least a bachelor's degree in theology/religious education or a related field.

Dear Brothers:

Bro. Jim Contadino
of the St. Laurence College Community in Dublin, and Bro. Jim Burkholder of the San Antonio Central Catholic Community, have each been appointed to a third three-year term as directors of their respective communities.

This action followed consultations with the communities and approval of the Superior General, in accordance with Article 105 of the Rule of Life.

The Provincial Council thanks these men for their willingness to continue in the role of servant leaders for their communities.

Bro. Tim Pieprzyca of the Central Catholic Community has been assigned to the Woodlawn Avenue Community in San Antonio, with ministry at St. Mary's University effective in August. We wish Bro. Tim God's blessings in his new community and in his service to St. Mary's University and the church of San Antonio.
