REMINDER TO COMMUNITY BUSINESS MANAGERS

 

This is a reminder that year end fiscal reports are due in the Province office by July 15, 2013. The report should include copies of June bank statements for the community's accounts (savings, checking, money market, etc.) and a copy of the June reconciliation report.

NEW PRINCIPAL/CEO

 

Kellie Abbott has been appointed principal and CEO of Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic High School, effective June 10, 2013. (North Catholic High School officially became Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic High School on June 30.) 

 

Abbott holds a bachelor's degree in English from the University of Notre Dame and master's in education administration and policy studies from the University of Pittsburgh. She is working toward a doctorate in education (school leadership) at the University of Pittsburgh.

 

Most recently, she served as a literacy coach and worked in curriculum, instruction and professional development in the Pittsburgh public schools. Abbott also served as the lead principal for the school district's principal development program.

 

She has worked as a principal in the Pittsburgh public schools, principal and assistant principal in the New Kensington Arnold School District and secondary English teacher in the Seneca Valley School District.
