From Bro. Ed Brink

Dear Brothers

I am happy to announce that Veronica Murphy has been named principal/CEO of Purcell Marian High School in Cincinnati, effective July 1.

She is a lifelong Catholic educator who currently serves as principal of Mother Brunner Catholic School in Dayton.

During her time at Mother Brunner, she has earned a reputation as a strong academic and religious leader. She was instrumental in the creation of Mother Brunner, which opened in 2010 to serve a wide diversity of students in Northern Dayton and Trotwood.

Before joining Mother Brunner, Veronica was principal of St. Rita Catholic School in Dayton. She holds a bachelor's degree in music education from Wright State University and master's degrees in theology and educational administration from the University of Dayton. Read the news release from the Archdiocese of Cincinnati.

Purcell Marian has adopted the "principal/CEO" model for the next school year. Veronica replaces Al Early, president, who announced his retirement last summer, and Paul Ramstetter, principal, who decided not to pursue the position of principal/CEO.

Many thanks to Al for his years of service in Catholic education and his leadership at Purcell Marian . . . and our gratitude to Paul for his contributions to our educational mission at Purcell Marian.

Welcome Veronica!

Dear Brothers

If your community has a car that is not being used, or a car that might not be used in the near future, please let me know as soon as possible. We have several needs in the Province which can be satisfied by shifting around vehicles that are in good condition rather than buying or leasing.
