Welcome to our September 2015 e-Newsletter. The Toronto International Film Festival starts tomorrow! As part of the festivities, King Street will be closed from Peter to Simcoe from the 10th to the 13th (commuters beware!). The city will play host to a number of filmmakers and actors, but we can't forget the actual films! Below is a link to 10 must-see world premieres.

Average GTA house price up 10% in August

The average sale price of homes across the GTA was up 10 per cent in August to $602,607 and sales climbed 5.7 per cent as Toronto's hot real estate market continued to show no signs of cooling down.

Market News
Toronto Real Estate Board President Mark McLean announced that Greater Toronto Area REALTORS� reported 7,998 residential transactions through the TREB MLS� System in August 2015. This result represented a 5.7 per cent increase compared to 7,568 sales reported in August 2014. On a GTA-wide basis, sales were up for all major home types.
