Here at Milagro Center, we spend a lot of time teaching the children to become more open to the world around them. Whether it is through dance, music, or art, the children learn to express themselves in a way that puts their emotions on display for others to view. In order to teach humility, we have to take a step back and remind ourselves that there is a difference between showing how we feel and forcing our feelings onto others. Humility creates a space for us so we all can express how we feel without being overshadowed by each other.
