Gracious Father, we pray for your holy Catholic Church. Fill it with all truth, in all truth with all peace. Where it is corrupt, purify it; where it is in error, direct it; where in any thing it is amiss, reform it. Where it is right, strengthen it; where it is in want, provide for it; where it is divided, reunite it; for the sake of Jesus Christ your Son our Savior. Amen.

Planning is well underway!

Registration is Open

The traditional Convention Packets have been mailed. However, it is important to note that our diocese is joining the overwhelming number of dioceses across the church that conduct Convention Registration online.

Clergy, lay delegates and alternates, as well as visitors may use this portal to secure their Convention Registration.

If you are a parish administrator who is simply registering your church's clergy and delegates, be sure to select the "Not Attending Convention" option under fees.

Please note that online registration does not supplant submission of the Lay Member Certificate required by church canons.

Electronic files of this certificate and all other Convention materials currently available may be downloaded from

Walk Off Hunger

We need WALKERS (bike riders, wheel chairs, walkers, strollers). Calvary, Williamsville is the 2013 co-sponsor of Walk Off Hunger to be held on Saturday, July 27, 2013. The event benefits the Food Bank of WNY, and the more walkers we have, the more money we make for the Food Bank.

So this is a call to all churches. Get involved! Let's take steps together to fight hunger in our community. Let's see which church can have the most walkers or monetary donations.

Option to Attend from Afar! Earlybird registration ends this week

TENS Conference Logo Stewardship Conference

Exploring stewardship as a response of faithfulness will be the major focus of the 2013 Conference of The Episcopal Network for Stewardship (TENS) on July 12 and 13 at the Episcopal Commons of Utah in Salt Lake City, Diocese of Utah.

The conference, centering on the theme Flourish in Faith, is designed to offer congregational and diocesan stewardship teams the theological, scriptural and practical aspects of stewardship information and annual giving.

This year, the opening worship, three plenary addresses, and four workshops will be broadcast to the wider church through a webcast registration fee. We envision people gathering in parish halls and parishioner's homes to explore, engage and enrich their own stewardship journey and the stewardship practices of their congregations-from Portland, Oregon to Portland Maine and everywhere in between.

To learn more go to: http://www.tens.org/2013-conference

Deadline for early bird registration is June 6.
