Bloomingdale Area Women in Business will participate in the annual Multi-Chamber "Polka Dot" Luncheon on Wednesday, November 28 at the Carol Stream Holiday Inn and Suites. This is a great opportunity to network with women (and men) from 14 local chambers. Register
As we wrap-up our 30th anniversary year, we will host a special holiday celebration at the new Scottish Rite on Wednesday, December 5 from 5:30 to 8:30 PM. The open house will include food provided by Catering with Elegance, music provided by Agni Duo, our awards presentation, and the opportunity to tour the brand new Scottish Rite. Register

November 28 Polka Dot Multi-Chamber Luncheon
JOIN OTHER NETWORKING BUSINESS PROFESSIONALS! Members of Women's Groups from all over will get together for this Progressive Luncheon with a POLKA DOT theme. Why the dots? You will roll dice to determine which tables you will be seated at. Wear polka dots if you want to really get into the theme! As always, men are welcome to attend.
Joining us will be members from other chambers--Addison, Batavia, Carol Stream, Darien, Elmhurst, DPWN, Glen Ellyn, Glendale Heights, Hanover Park, Lisle, Lombard, Western DuPage, Wheaton, Woodridge...and more.

New Addition to Chamber Staff
Please extend a warm welcome to the new Office Manager for the Bloomingdale Chamber. Stephanie Grady joined us on October 29 and will be replacing Marianne McKeown, who took a position with the Village of Bloomingdale. Stephanie, a native of Wheaton, IL, comes to the Chamber with a foundation in Theater Arts from Illinois Wesleyan University and a more recent background in Tourism. For the past four years she managed Group Sales and Events at John Hancock Observatory in Chicago. Stephanie volunteers with the Drama Therapy Association Erasing the Distance and spends her Saturdays teaching middle school students how to act and collaborate. She looks forward to getting to know the town and members of the BCC!

Bloomingdale Lions Club Spaghetti Dinner
The Bloomingdale Lions Club will host a Spaghetti Dinner on Friday, November 9 from 5 - 8 PM at the Bloomingdale Golf Club. The cost is $10 per person (children 8 and under are free). Help for Small Businesses Through SCORE
SCORE is a nonprofit association dedicated to helping small businesses get off the ground, grow and achieve their goals through education and mentoring. For the past 50 years, SCORE has been assisting business owners through their network of volunteer mentors, free business tools and templates, workshops and business counseling. SCORE mentors will be available for one-on-one business counseling here at the Chamber office.
