Our 4th Annual 50 Men Who Cook was a huge success!  The East Pavilion at Hilton Indian Lakes Resort was full as attendees enjoyed great food and then cast their votes for their favorite chefs. Congratulations to our chef winners:

Consider hosting a student on November 15 for our 5th Annual Student to Business Partnership.  The student would shadow/participate in any or all aspects of a typical business day for you from 8:30 to Noon.  You and the student are then invited to attend a luncheon along with the other participants.  If you are interested in participating, please let me know.

Over 150 people from the Chambers of Addison, Bloomingdale, Carol Stream and Glendale Heights attended the Fall Multi-Chamber Progressive Luncheon on Wednesday October 10 at the Bloomingdale Golf Club.   Our next Multi-Chamber Progressive luncheon will be held on January 16, 2013 with the Chambers of Addison, Bartlett, Bloomingdale, Carol Stream, Hanover Park and Roselle.

WHERE ARE YOU NOW AND WHERE ARE YOU GOING?
Dr. Lori Belha, former Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources, Wheaton Warrenville District 200, gave an entertaining and informative seminar on September 25 at Bloomingdale Bank & Trust. Participants heard about the importance of having an up to date resume, even if you are not actively looking for employment. Dr. Belha also gave tips for interviewing, from both sides of the desk! Thanks to Susan Sargent and Bloomingdale Bank & Trust for hosting us, and to Costco, for providing delicious treats for our breakfast. Remember that Bloomingdale Area Women in Business members enjoy four complimentary educational seminars a year as part of their membership dues.

As you know, our membership dues are billed on a calendar year basis.  Invoices will be mailed in November and payment is due by December 31.  Please remember to include our membership dues in your 2013 budget.
