Reversing the Trend

"Pastor, what can I do to help you in the church?" This is music to the pastor's ears when they hear leaders and members asking them how they can be of help. Unfortunately, pastors usually respond by giving them a task or two but fail to see the real opportunity. We end up contributing to the pastor-centered, pastor-dependency syndrome that has plagued the church for decades. This practice is not biblical. The Ephesians 4 model reverses this incorrect practice. The Alcove Swing, located in Yosemite National Park on El Capitan, is a popular and easy-to-reach attraction for rock climbers and thrill seekers. It's a single rope attached to the top of an alcove with a rock climbing anchor. Visitors to Yosemite Valley can attach that rope to their harness, jump outward, and swing over the Valley. It's an incredible view, but in order to enjoy it, you must trust the person who creates the anchor at the top of the alcove year after year.   Read More

  • Seven million children die of hunger every year. 
  • Help us feed 10,000 during October UN Hunger Month and November World Orphans Day. Sabbath, November 7-8, 2014.
  • NAD Education, Ministerial and Youth/Young Adults Departments have partnered with Restore a Child to participate in the do fast. Hats were created to help schools and churches to raise awareness and raise funds to save lives of children.
