Join us Wednesday, Oct 21 as we discuss what's essential to know, what's good to know, and what you probably don't need to know about CSS3 and HTML5. Our speaker Scott DeLoach will provide an overview of HTML5 and CSS3, what's new, and what's expected next for both technologies. He'll also share basic, intermediate, and advanced real-world HTML5 and CSS3 examples that you can apply to your own projects, including how to use HTML5 and CSS3 to format mobile, desktop, and print.
If you need to get up to speed with these important web technologies, are interested in how other people are using HTML5 and CSS3, or want to add cool features to your content, this session is for you!

October Webinar - REST API Overview and Documentation Best Practices
If you haven't documented a REST API, you might be asked to do so soon. REST APIs are growing quickly, with enterprise and finance the fastest growing categories. The job market for REST API writers is hot, and technical communicators can increase their marketability and value to their company by learning about REST APIs. Be prepared by getting a head-start on what you need to know!
About the speaker Marta Rauch works on a development team at Oracle, where she architects and leads mobile, cloud, and REST API projects. She works on REST API guides, provides input to corporate REST API standards, and participates with a team that develops a new REST API interface. She also enjoys design jams and developer challenges for mobile, augmented reality, beacons, and wearable technology.
