• Top-notch presenters on a variety of interesting topics, keynote speaker, wonderful closing session speaker (a former tech writer now a successful speaker).
• My favorite session was on iterative document development - it was less a 10-step solution than a thoughtful discussion about Agile, Waterfall and similar methodologies. Finally a presentation that lets you ponder and synthesize information!
• Many of my favorite attendees were there, and I also met so many new attendees.
• I am encouraged that the CEO Chris Lyons is reaching out to academia through the college-level honorary societies. Three students performed research sponsored by STC and presented their research boards to judges and interested attendees.
• Fewer attendees this year, I think due to a less interesting venue.
