November Chapter Meeting - Breaking Into Technical Communication & Staying Relevant
While universities are creating more and more degree programs for technical communication, the majority of technical communicators still break into the industry from another background. Come hear from three panelists who did just that--you'll learn how they broke into tech comm, what resources and tools they use to stay up-to-date on trends, what they do today, and how you can follow in their foot steps.
Even if you're already a technical communicator, this will be a great resource for you to see how technical communicators in the Chicago area are involved in the industry and keep their skills sharp. Come with questions for these working professionals!
This meeting includes a dinner buffet that will accommodate a vast majority of dietary restrictions.
