June Chapter Meeting: Trivia Night with STC Chicago

Whether you're a fount of useless information or just want to give your brain a fun workout, you won't want to miss our final meeting of the program year. Join us on Tuesday, June 25 at Elmhurst Public House for our end-of-year celebration, featuring dinner, drinks, and a rousing game of trivia.
We'll divide ourselves into team of 3 or 4 people. Team members will confer to come up with a group answer for each question asked by the moderator. Correct answers earn points, and the team with the most points at the end wins. You can network while you play. The new chapter officers will also be installed during our brief annual business meeting. |
STC Chicago Won a PACE Setter Award and Community of Excellence You're a part of an award-winning chapter! STC Chicago won a 2013 PACE Setter award, which was presented to chapter members at the Awards Banquet at Summit 2013. Our citation reads:
"For increasing member engagement through a comprehensive social media approach that allows open, on-going contributions; reinforces involvement in the community; and keeps focus on the STC Chicago community, its activities, and the profession."
Additionally, STC recognized our chapter as a 2013 Community of Excellence.

Chicago eLearning & Technology Showcase - Save the Date
The Chicago eLearning & Technology Showcase is a full-day conference with an emphasis on the role of new media and interactive methods in organizational training. Speakers explore all aspects of elearning, such as instructional design, development tools, media resources, virtual classrooms, social and interactive applications, mobile learning, rapid elearning, and more. June officially kicks off the Grant Park Music Festival, a free outdoor concert series in Millennium Park. Thousands of spectators pour into the park every Friday and Saturday night to hear the Chicago Symphony Orchestra take us on a world tour of classical music.
