Gates of the Mountains, Elkhorn Ghost Town, Two Camps Vista, State Capitol Building
Greetings!

The photos above represent some of my favorite attractions in the Helena area: Gates of the Mountains, Elkhorn Ghost Town, Two Camps Vista and the Montana Capitol Building.  All four of these attractions, plus 34 other wonderful Helena experiences are part of the NEW Helena, Montana GeoTour.  A GeoTour is a tool for you to use to explore the very best of Helena. Of course, you'll hit the expected attractions, but you'll also discover some unique things that you would have missed without the GeoTour. In the information below, you'll find out more about this exciting new program.

The GeoTour launches this weekend: Saturday, May 4.

Sincerely,
Heidi O'Brien

  Young Geocachers

The Helena Montana GeoTour stretches throughout the scenic Helena area from the heights of MacDonald Pass, along the historic downtown gulch and South to Boulder and the Elkhorn Ghost Town. The GeoTour is a great way to discover all the treasures of Montana's Capital City.

Lots of special deals for geocachers are being added to our site, give us a little time for the list to develop.

#3 What ya get?
Coins
After you complete 25 of 38 geocaches on the GeoTour you'll receive a trackable GeoCoin embossed with the Helena Firetower.  The coin is made with Archie Bray Clay locally by the Helena Clay Arts Guild.  Better yet, you'll discover so many unique things about Helena as the GeoTour will take you to Two Camps Vista, Mt. Ascension, the base of the Firetower and many of the traditional attractions you'd expect to find. Complete details and rules are on our web site.

The tour will take the average cacher about a day and a half to complete.
