What's Happening in Helena
Open the Gates
Gates of the Mountains Boat Tour
Lewis & Clark got to watch the cliffs of the Missouri open before them on July 19, 1805.  You can experience this amazing sight this summer at the Gates of the Mountains Boat Tour just outside of Helena, Montana.

Hungry?
  Old Miner's Dining Club Meal
Beginning at 11:00 am every day, the smell of burgers on the grill starts to sneak its way into our office at Reeder's Alley in Downtown Helena.  The Old Miner's Dining Club offers wonderful lunches and exceptional dinners.  For dinner, be sure to call ahead for your reservation.

Two Sleeping Giants
Two Sleeping Giants
One of Helena's famous landmarks is the Sleeping Giant.  Sometimes visitors have a little trouble spotting the giant.  Can you see the two giants in this picture?

Frayed Sew
Frayed Sew
Frayed Sew could have gotten it's name based on the fact that all their products are hand-made with a focus on local artists.  I think it got it's name because when my husband sees how much I spend there I can only tell him "well, frayed sew."  Visit their boutique at 38 S. Last Chance Gulch on the Walking Mall in Helena.
Free Fishing with Father
Fishing Kid
On Father's Day Weekend (June 15-16, 2013) any person (resident or non-resident) may fish for any fish within the state of Montana without getting a fishing license as long as they abide by the Fish Wildlife & Parks fishing regulations.  Be sure to click the link for the details.  And visit our page for all the Helena Fishing Spots!
