Full Time Floral Designer: We are searching for a Full-Time Floral Designer who is experienced in all aspects of a flower shop including traditional and contemporary design. Candidate must be able to handle conditioning of flowers, maintaining coolers and have good customer service and computer skill.  Candidate must also  be dependable, organized, and efficient.

Part Time Delivery Driver / Store Clerk: Delivery drivers are the face of our company and the lasting impression as recipients accept their flowers or gifts from our shop.  Ideal candidate must have a clean driving record, familiarity with local delivery area, and ability to lift up to 30 pounds. ARTISTS' TALK SUNDAY AUG. 21ST:
"crossing the line"

Please join us on Sunday, August 21st at 1 PM for a unique opportunity to meet Joe DiMaggio, JoAnne Kalish and Dennis Wheeler. An open discussion with these three accomplished artists will shed light on their experiences "crossing the line" from commercial art to fine art.

HEVREH ENSEMBLE FUNDRAISING CONCERT @ THE WHITE 
Sunday, August 28th at 4 PM

Join us in welcoming the Hevreh Ensemble to the Gallery on August 28th at 4 PM for an enjoyable evening of music and art. The ensemble combine the rhythmic harmony of the flute, oboe and saxophone, among others, to fill the gallery with captivating original compositions.

Scoville Memorial Library End of August Events

Saturday August 20th   11:00 am

End of summer reading celebration, with lizards, snakes & salamanders!

Scoville Memorial Library presents a Reptile and Amphibian program that includes 15-20 different examples of lizards, snakes, turtles, tortoises, frogs, and salamanders!  Each one is highlighted during hour long show.  Some of the visitors may include a corn snake, ball python, red footed tortoise, bearded dragon, African bullfrog, crested gecko, milk snake, tegu, and more!  There will be time at the end of the program to closely inspect and even touch some of the lovely and distinctive creatures.
 
We will serve refreshments and celebrate all the terrific reading that kids accomplished over the summer!
