On Monday, Rocky Hill staff members visited the office of VIBCO and learned from Karl Wadensten '78 and his staff about lean enterprise and maximizing talents.

It was a wonderful trip and the group is excited to implement many of the tips and tricks learned throughout the day.

Thank you, Karl, for your time!

Upper School
Senior Seminar
Begins Tuesday, January 15  |  5:45 - 8:30 PM
Seniors are asked to arrive on campus at 5:30 and meet in Campbell Cafeteria.

Senior Seminar is a unique program that provides students with the challenges of creating a business. In conjunction with four evening presentations, the seniors will work in groups to conceive, research, and plan a business start-up that will be presented to a venture capital group to attract investment. Through this process, students are introduced to the complexities of contemporary entrepreneurship and the teamwork, collaboration, leadership, and global awareness that it requires. They are encouraged to explore opportunities created by modern technology, including the ease with which businesses expand internationally. In addition to current markets and finance, our seniors consider ethical, environmental, political, and legal issues that may factor into their endeavors.  Learn more about Senior Seminar 2013 here

Senior Seminar Dinners
While Chef Rob has agreed to do the cooking, parent volunteers are still needed to set up, serve and clean up after the meals.  There are only a few more slots to fill, but the most help is needed for the first meal on Tuesday. Click here to volunteer.  If you have any questions about the dinners, please contact Fraser Gilbane at FBGilbane@Gilbaneco.com.
