The absence of disease is healthy. Having good energy is healthy. Not having pain is healthy. But the thing we want you to remember is, and all of that is absolutely true, the thing we want you to remember is that anything chronic is your body telling you something. 

Pain is a way of your body telling you something.  Any time you have anything out of the norm you should always have a big questions as to what's causing it if it's lasting more than a few days. Weight Loss Hint--Motivation Pick-Me-Ups  
Nobody is perfect and sometimes finding the motivation to motivation image continue with your weight-loss plan and healthy lifestyle is difficult. It may be easy to go back to your old habits, like overeating or skipping a day of exercise. Before you get back into your old routine try a few of these motivational pick-me-ups to recharge your motivation to lose weight and succeed in having a healthy lifestyle.
 
First and foremost, you must remember that just because you had a lapse doesn't mean you failed. If you went off your plan for a day, or you didn't exercise for a couple of days, don't quit, just get right back on track.
 
Getting support from your friends and family is also important. Avoid those who are trying to sabotage you, and be around those who will motivate you and who want to see you succeed.
 
Also, decide ahead of time how to handle temptations. If you are craving a brownie, grab a Thin&Healthy brownie bar, or if you are craving pizza, fix yourself a pizza pita. When an urge or temptation comes, do something else for 5 minutes or so, this will help delay your craving. Emotions and stress are also causes of people to lapse on their program. Try to respond in other ways to the stress of life. Instead of eating something, go for a short walk or call a friend, read a book, or meditate. 

 
 
Nutrition Hint--Power Up Your Lunch  
If you are one of the many who has a plain salad for lunch, you are on the right path.

Eating a plate full of greens may pack in a day's worth of vitamins and minerals, which are optimal for health.

However, the only problem with just a plain salad is this: you are hungry by mid-afternoon!

This could lead to a late afternoon trip to the vending machine, where there is nothing but empty calories that can go straight to your hips.

The best thing to do: Add a small piece of chicken, steak, or fish to your salad.

A small portion of meat can provide 21 grams of appetite-suppressing protein while only supplying 100 to 140 calories. This could be perfect for getting you through the afternoon hump.

Plus, eating protein burns EXTRA calories due to the calorie demand needed to actually DIGEST the meat.

Adding meat can boost calorie burning, plus leave you full and satisfied until your next meal.

Recipe of the Week--Cilantro-Lime Turkey Taco Wraps     
Cilantro-lime turkey taco wraps
 
2 teaspoons cider vinegar
1 1/4 lbs ground turkey breast
1 small or 1 medium yellow onion
2 cloves garlic, peeled
1/3 cup packed fresh cilantro
1/4 cup fresh lime juice (from about 2 limes)
1/2 cup your favorite green salsa 
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 cup low-sodium chicken stock
1-2 heads of iceberg lettuce (depending on size)
tomatoes for garnish
 
In a food processor, add onion, garlic, cilantro, lime juice and green salsa. Pulse until a smooth salsa consistency is reached; set aside.
In a medium non-stick sauté pan, heat vinegar over medium heat. Add ground turkey and cook, breaking up any large pieces, for 5 minutes. Add chili powder, cumin, oregano and salt; stir.
Add salsa to turkey and stir to combine and cook until turkey is cooked through about 5 minutes more. Add chicken stock, turn heat to medium-high and bring to a simmer. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.

Turn heat off and let turkey mixture sit while you prepare the lettuce cups.

Tear off large pieces of lettuce that are big enough to hold about 1/3 cup of ground turkey. Top each lettuce cup with diced tomato, and extra cilantro if desired.
