Paid Research Positions in CA
University California, Davis Lab is seeking applications for full-time research assistant/junior specialist positions at the UC Davis Translational Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience (TCAN) Laboratory under the direction of Dr. Cameron Carter. Our ideal applicants have received their B.A. or B.S. and are typically interested in a Research Assistant position to be more competitive in pursuing a career in medicine or psychology. PSY 381 & 382 - Human Service Internship
Spring 2017 & Summer 2017 This course is designed for the student planning for a career working directly with people in need. It teaches you how to effectively help people in direct-service situations, whether through non-profit organizations (e.g., homeless shelters, domestic abuse programs, refugee services, foster care services) or government jobs (e.g., child protective services, welfare office). The class uses lectures, discussions, guest speakers, videos, homework, in class assignments, and tests to enhance your understanding of the material. Attendance is extremely important and will be strictly enforced. This course is a two semester commitment and students must agree to sign up for both semesters in order to be allowed into the course. Psychology Students UURAF Award Recipients
The annual University Undergraduate Research and Arts Forum (UURAF) provides Michigan State undergraduate students with an opportunity to showcase their scholarship and creative activity. UURAF provides a unique educational opportunity for aspiring researchers. MSU undergraduates gain experience in presenting their research, answer questions about their work from audience members and guests, and receive constructive feedback from judges.

Advising Appointments
We are in the midst of annual enrollment. Students are enrolling not only for Summer 2016, but also for Fall 2016 & Spring 2017 courses.
Students schedule their appointments on-line. Check the advising scheduling system for our availability. If no appointments are available, you can come for a walk-in available Monday - Friday, from 1:00 - 3:00 PM. Note: walk-ins are no more than 10 - 15 minutes. Come prepared!!
