Your student will receive a manila envelope on Monday, August 24 from the DIS PTO. This envelope includes important flyers for parents including a PTO Membership form, volunteer opportunities, 6th Grade Fun Night ticket order form, a Pink Out shirt order form and more!

We ask that you please go through this envelope carefully and return the envelope with any order forms to your child's homeroom teacher or the front office. You may also visit www.dispto.com if you prefer to order items online with your credit card.

Anyone who wants to volunteer at a CISD campus MUST complete the volunteer background check at the link below.

This website is designed to inform you about the district's ongoing Volunteer Program. The application and background process is ANNUAL. This means that each year you will be asked to submit and agree to a background check before becoming an Approved CISD Volunteer.

You WILL NOT be allowed to volunteer until this background check is complete!

Please login to Family Access and complete the 2015-2016 Enrollment Verification Process for each of your students.

To ensure that your child's information is released for school-related purposes like yearbooks, PTO directories, press releases, etc, you will need to select "yes" in the box for school-related release. If you do not want the general public to obtain directory information, you must select "no" to public release. Many parents are confused by the "public release" question. In the past, 99% of our parents did NOT give permission for public release. We are noticing a great number of people saying yes to this option in our online enrollment verification. You can help us by making sure you read the information in our What's Public? What's Not?

The Durham Intermediate PTO is hosting their Fall Fundraiser online auction September 21 - October 7. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year. No more selling cookie dough! No more wrapping paper! No more begging neighbors and friends! Here's how it works:

TEAM DIS - Donate, Invest & Support

Donate - donate a flat dollar amount to the DIS PTO to be used for teacher wish list items

Invest - purchase wish list items for your child's teacher(s)

Support - bid on great offers from local businesses, teacher parties, & DIS items like preferred parking spots, name the hallway, & VIP packages to DIS events
