The Luther College Nordic Choir and Symphony Orchestra will perform in concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 23, in the Main Hall of the Center for Faith and Life on the Luther campus. Allen Hightower, Luther director of choral activities and professor of music, directs the Nordic Choir and Daniel Baldwin, Luther professor of music, directs the Symphony Orchestra. Read more... 

 
 

Fifty-six Luther College members of the class of 2014 were inducted into the Luther chapter of the Phi Beta Kappa national academic honor society at a ceremony held Sunday, April 27, in the Center for Faith and Life on the Luther campus. Read more... 

 

The Iowa Sociological Association hosted its annual meeting at Luther College on Friday, April 25. The ISA is an undergraduate-focused academic association organizing an annual meeting where undergraduates present their research. Student participants come from community colleges, private colleges and public universities across Iowa. The ISA provides a formal yet supportive conference environment for undergraduate students to present their work in sociology and social science-related fields. Read more... 
 
 

Representing the culmination of dedicated college careers, Luther senior art majors will present a gallery exhibit of their collective works May 6-25 in the Kristen Wigley-Fleming Fine Arts Gallery and the Gregerson Gallery in the Center for the Arts on the Luther campus. A reception for the student artists will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, May 24, in the Center for the Arts and is open to the public with no charge for admission.  Read more...

 
 

The recently constructed Digital Media Center on the Luther College campus opened during J-term 2014 and has begun operation. Located on the lower level of Luther's Preus Library, this newly allocated area consists of a multimedia studio and multimedia lab.  Read more...
