Luther College SAC Leadership to present 'Winning the Money Game' Nov. 20

Luther College Student Activities Council invites the community to come interact, listen and learn Adam Carroll's financial success secret in the lecture "Winning the Money Game" at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, in Valders Hall of Science Room 206 on the Luther Campus. Luther College to present Wind and Percussion Ensemble Concert

The Wind and Percussion Ensemble will present a fall concert at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13, in the Main Hall of the Center for Faith and Life on the Luther campus. The Wind and Percussion Ensemble will perform Suite on Celtic Folk Songs by Tomohiro Tatebe, "Sea Songs" by Ralph Vaughan Williams, "Heaven's Light" By Steven Reineke, "Hounds of Spring" by Alfred Reed and "The Washington Post" by John Philip Sousa. Luther's Active Minds sponsor Lifetime movie screening
Nov. 13

Luther's Active Minds student group and Counseling Services are sponsoring a screening of the Lifetime movie "Call Me Crazy" at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13, in Valders 206. "Call Me Crazy: A Five Film" brings together an all-star ensemble cast with five interwoven stories about how love, support and hope can help us overcome emotional health conditions like depression, bipolar disorder and PTSD.  Luther College Varsity Band and Philharmonia concert


The Luther College Varsity Band and Philharmonia ensemble will perform a concert at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, in the Main Hall of the Center for Faith and Life on the Luther campus. Jon Ailabouni, Luther class of 2010 and adjunct faculty in music, directs the Varsity Band and Spencer Martin, Luther associate professor of music, directs the Philharmonia ensemble. Read more... 

Luther College Paideia Text & Issues Lecture: Kristy Gould

Kristy Gould, Luther College professor of psychology, will present Luther's fall Paideia Lecture "Research in Animal Cognition as an Example of Studying the 'Other': What It Can Teach Us About Animals and About Ourselves" at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, in the Center for Faith and Life Recital Hall on the Luther College campus.
