As part of the continuing effort to pay homage to its strong Norwegian roots, Luther College will host a performance in honor of a highly accomplished Norwegian composer. "The Life and Music of Theodora Cormontan" will take place at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, in the Noble Recital Hall of the Jenson-Noble Hall of Music on the Luther campus. The performance is open to the public with no charge for admission. Area women of all ages are invited to learn more about financial management, retirement and estate planning, and charitable giving at the ninth annual "Women, Faith and Finance" seminar from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Friday, April 12. The program, hosted by Luther College at the Hotel Winneshiek in Decorah, is open to the public and coincides with Decorah's Women's Weekend Out. Read more...


Volunteers from Luther College's student congregation will help Decorah residents with spring chores on Saturday, April 13 during the annual Spring Fling community service day. Luther students will help Decorah community residents with yard work, planting, light housework, cleaning garages, installing screens, cleaning windows and other spring chores.
