IThe Decorah High School Concert Choir will join seven Luther faculty and six Luther students for the Luther College semi-annual "Music in the Shape of a Pear" concert. Steve Smith, Luther composition and electronic music faculty member, will direct this spring's concert at 8 p.m. Sunday, March 17, in the Noble Recital Hall of the Jenson-Noble Music Hall on the Luther campus. The second Song Jam of the 2012-13 Luther College Art Song Jamboree series will be held at 5:15 p.m. Monday, March 18, in the Recital Hall of the Center for Faith and Life on the Luther campus. Art Song Jamboree, a music series dedicated to the exploration of art song, new and old, is open to the public with no charge for admission.  Read more...

Luther College welcomes back the Collegiate Chorale from their Iowa tour. The Collegiate Chorale, directed by Andrew Last in his first year at the helm, held their tour homecoming concert March 12. The concert is available to view online at: http://client.stretchinternet.com/client/lutheradmin.portal#. Be sure to click "on-demand" to view the concert.

The Luther College Chamber Orchestra will present an early spring concert at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 21, in the Main Hall of the Center for Faith and Life.  Chamber Orchestra is conducted by Daniel Baldwin, professor of music and director of orchestras at the college.
