Environmental activist Vandana Shiva will present a Luther College Distinguished Lecture, "Earth Democracy: Justice, Sustainability, and Peace," at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, in the Center for Faith and Life Main Hall on Luther's campus. On Feb. 14 Luther College's Women and gender studies department will join with activists around the world for ONE BILLION RISING, the largest day of action in the history of V-Day, the global activist movement to end violence against women and girls.  Read more... 

One of every three women in the world will be physically or sexually abused in her lifetime, according to information from the United Nations. To raise money and awareness to stop violence against women and girls, 20 Luther students will present three benefit performances of Eve Ensler's "The Vagina Monologues" Feb. 16-17. The performances include heartwarming, funny, poignant and at times heartbreaking stories of women across the globe.  Read more...

Luther College Ministries will host its annual Gospel Sunday worship service at 10 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 17 in the Main Hall of the Center for Faith and Life on Luther campus. The college extends an invitation to the community to attend the service.
