President Torgerson to speak at Nordic American Thanksgiving Breakfast

Luther College President Richard Torgerson has been invited to speak at 7 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20, in Bloomington, Minn., at the annual Nordic American Thanksgiving Breakfast presented by the Sons of Norway. The event will take place at the Double Tree Hotel in Bloomington, Minn., 7800 Normandale Boulevard. Reservations are required and may be made through Sons of Norway, telephone (612) 921-4640.

'Interpretations' on display at Luther College: Local artist Rebecca Kamm's quilts on display Nov. 27- Jan. 16

A series of quilts that celebrate the works of master artists will be on display Tuesday, Nov. 20, through Wednesday, Jan. 16, in the Kristin Wigley-Fleming Gallery in the Center for the Arts on the Luther College campus. A gallery reception for artist Rebecca Kamm will be 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27. The show, titled "Interpretations," and the reception are open to the public with no charge for admission. Read more...

A semester of work for 19 Luther College students will conclude with Fall Opera Scenes performances in Luther's Jenson Noble Hall of Music in the Noble Recital Hall at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16 and 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17. The performances are open to the public with no charge for admission.
