Mastercarver, teacher and best-selling author, Scholz's portrayal of eagles, hawks, owls and other species have won him a following among museums and collectors worldwide. Join us as Floyd share stories from his 43 years of birdcarving. Discussing the tools, techniques and thought process that shape the birds created on his workbench, Floyd will take us through his process of transforming an ordinary block of Tupelo into a majestic bird.
