Auctioneer James Maroney at the Inaugural Fundraiser for BigTown Projects
|
As we move into this new year, the 10th year anniversary of BigTown Gallery, we are thrilled to announce the start of our new non-profit, BigTown Projects, Inc, inspired by a very generous donation.
All of the programming that we do outside of the regular gallery exhibitions: the performing arts events, the summer reading series, and more, will now fall under BigTown Projects. In 2013 we launch our farm-to-chef-to-gallery program, BigTown BigTable, coupled with some exciting new fundraising events - much like our very successful inaugural celebration auction held in the gallery for New Year - all to resume a full schedule of new programming in 2014.
Stay tuned!
Now is the time to join us on facebook (BigTown Gallery) and encourage your friends to sign up for our email campaigns.
The BigTown Projects, Inc. mission statement:
BigTown Projects is founded for the purpose of establishing dynamically sustainable arts education programs to be presented to the general public as well as private and public schools, such presentations being of literary, performing, and visual arts events, which will effectively engage and educate audience and performers alike, while providing significant cultural arts advantages to the rural communities of Central Vermont and beyond.
