Purposeful Living
March 2013Issue No. 7
Greetings!

"Reach high, for stars lie hidden in you. Dream deep, for every dream precedes the goal."
~ Rabindranath Tagore

We've all had goals in our lives that we want to achieve whether they are personal, or for our place of employment or business. We have dreams that we want to come to pass. The majority of society may set goals but the reality is that many never accomplish all of their goals because they may lack vision and the necessary actions to get to the goal and then they get stuck. Having a vision is only part of the goal setting equation. It takes a specific mind-set and behavioral change, coupled with realistic actions to get to where you want to be.

As a leader, you set goals for you, your organization and align the goals of others to ensure that the mission and vision for your organization are carried out. Without these goals however, your actions are simply actions with no direction and purpose. So make your goals count; make them an expectation for you personally and professionally. Take the time to change behaviors so that you achieve the results that you desire.

Goal Planning for Long Island Small Businesses
Eventbrite - 2013 Business & Personal Goal Planning Workshop

Many Long Island Small Businesses don't achieve their business goals. Now there are many reasons but one reason in particular stands out, and it's the in goal achievement. How often do you as a business owner set goals only not to have them come to fruition? We spin our wheels and either achieve part of the goal or never get to the goal. We start again the next year and still fail to achieve the desired results. What if you could make your goals more "actionable" and "impactful", and grow your business while improving overall bottom-line results just by changing how you plan and execute your goals. Would you be happy? What if you could plan your goals in such a way that you can forecast the potential for failure?
