The threshold policy decision is whether public funds should be provided to choice schools, particularly to schools run by private corporations or religious institutions. Issues such as democratic governance, accountability of public funds, quality control and church/state concerns must first be carefully deliberated.

  

How do You Defeat an Army of Determined Educators? by Anthony Cody

This framing is, in itself, remarkable. That a "movement" generously financed from the deep pockets of our nation's billionaires would have the chutzpah to claim for itself the mantle of underdog should be laughable.
