SEI Fellow Finds Opportunity from Asia in NOLA
        
 
For Bowen McCulloch, an LSU Entrepreneurship Fellow and management major at the LSU E. J. Ourso College of Business, this past summer offered a unique opportunity to work the Louisiana Restaurant and Hospitality Expo with one of Asia's top 10 young entrepreneurs in the industry. McCulloch embraced the chance as part of his path to working in the restaurant industry.

JEG Accepts Alumnus' Paper 
       
The Journal of Economic Growth has accepted LSU E. J. Ourso College of Business alumnus Justin Cook's job market paper The Role of Lactase Persistence in Precolonial Development. Cook earned his Ph.D. in economics from LSU in 2012, and is an assistant professor at the University of California-Merced School of Social Sciences, Humanities and Arts.

DII to Host Dress for Success Fashion Show
  
The LSU E. J. Ourso College of Business Diversity & Inclusion Initiative will host the Dress for Success: 2014 Fall Fashion Show on Thursday, September 4. Students are invited to come and see business casual and business professional looks presented by Talbots, Jos. A. Bank and Banana Republic. Two lucky attendees will each receive a $200 Visa gift card.

EY Invasion Day Set for September 3
           
Ernst & Young will host LSU EY Invasion Day on Wednesday, September 3. Recruiters will be onsite in The Rotunda and Virginia's Courtyard of the Business Education Complex from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Students interested in a career with EY are invited to visit with representatives to learn more about available opportunities. This event is open to all students.

ExxonMobil Providing Free Jambalaya Lunch to Business Students
 
ExxonMobil will be giving away 450 free jambalaya lunches-complete with salad, cookies and drinks-to LSU E. J. Ourso College of Business students in The Rotunda on Thursday, September 4. Lunch will be served on a first-come, first-served basis from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Reservations are not necessary.
