Llorens to Join PAR Editorial Board
 
The Public Administration Review has asked Jared Llorens to join its editorial board. Llorens, an associate professor in the LSU Public Administration Institute, holds the Texas Tiger Tournament/Greater Houston Alumni Association Developing Scholar Professorship. Lloren joined the E. J. Ourso College of Business in 2009.

Management PhD Students' Article Published
 
The Leadership and Organization Development Journal published an article by Benjamin McLarty and Jeffrey Muldoon, who joined forces with management alumnus and Fresno State University Entrepreneurship Professor Eric Liguori to pen "The moderating effect of perceived job characteristics on the proactive personality-organizational citizenship behavior relationship."

LSUCIA Answers Questions with Research Grant 
 
LSU CIAIn 2011, the Institute of Internal Auditors awarded the LSU Center for Internal Auditing a $15,000 research grant. LSUCIA Assistant Professor Jared Soileau secured the grant, which he, Lydia Lafleur and Glenn Sumners used to research the topics of governance risk and control and enterprise risk management, areas that auditors have increasingly had to address.

Management PhD Student Receives Award
 
The LSU Rucks Department of Management has awarded the 2013 James Reddoch Award for Teaching Excellence to Ph.D. student Benjamin McLarty. Each year, the department presents the Reddoch award to a management graduate student in honor of LSU alumnus, administrator and management professor James Reddoch.

DED's Barnes Appears on LPB Program
 
  Stephen Barnes, director of the Division of Economic Development in the LSU E. J. Ourso College of Business, appeared as part of a panel of experts on the Louisiana Public Broadcasting program Louisiana Public Square. The title of the episode is "Exploring Louisiana's Insurance Exchange," and aired originally the night before Thanksgiving.
