College Dedicates CELEBRATE, Honors Ogden
 On October 29, the LSU E. J. Ourso College of Business dedicated its latest artistic addition to the Business Education Complex -- CELEBRATE. LSU President and Chancellor F. King Alexander and college administrators were present for the 20-foot sculpture's dedication, which also served as an occasion to honor alumnus, supporter, and BEC visionary Roger Ogden.

Georges Next Breakfast to Business Speaker
 John Georges, chief executive officer of Georges Enterprises, will be the next speaker in LSU Executive Education's Breakfast to Business series. The event will be held Tuesday, November 19, in room 1420 of LSU's Business Education Complex, from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. The BEC is located on Nicholson Drive Extension.

Tax Notes Publishes Crumbley, Cheng Article
 D. Larry Crumbley and Christine Crawford-Cheng, both of the Department of Accounting, co-authored an article that Tax Notes published in its September 2013 issue. It discusses the ruling by the Treasury Department and the IRS that same-sex couples who are legally married in jurisdictions that recognize same-sex marriages will be treated as married for federal tax purposes.

LSU Flores MBA Program Ranks 37 for ROI
 Forbes has ranked the LSU Flores MBA Program 37 among public institutions for return on investment and 67 overall. The ranking places the program at seven among Southeastern Conference institutions. Respondents were asked for current salary information, salary prior to entering the program and total cost of the education.
