2014: Year of the Tigers in Hong Kong
 Lauren Johnson, Michael Panther, John Preston, and Leah Wong will spend an entire semester at Hong Kong Polytechnic University, completely immersed in one of the world's most historic cultures while earning credits toward their respective degrees. Their classes will be taught in English and will primarily be business courses.

Bucktown All-Stars Back for 2013 Bash
 Back by popular demand, the Bucktown All-Stars will provide the bulk of the entertainment again for the LSU E. J. Ourso College of Business' Business College Bash. As it did last year, the college will host the bash at the BEC. This year's Business College Bash will be Saturday, November 23, and will begin four hours prior to kickoff of the LSU-Texas A&M football game.Click here to read more.

Journal of Banking Accepts Sanger's Paper
 Gary Sanger, professor of finance, recently co-authored a paper that the Journal of Banking and Finance has accepted for publication. "Asset Sales in the Mutual Fund Industry: Who Gains?," was written with LSU Ph.D. alumnus and Assistant Professor of Finance at Quinnipiac University Fan Chen and LSU Professor Emeritus of Finance Myron Slovin.

LSU Flores MBA Alum Presented Hubbard Award
 The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners recently named Ryan Hubbs, an alumnus of the LSU Flores MBA Program, as the 2013 Hubbard Award winner. The award is presented to the best feature article in Fraud Magazine. Hubbs won the award for his April 2012 article, "Find Deviant Behaviors, Find Fraud? Human Resources Issues Could Uncover Worse Crimes."

SBDC Reactivated as Part of LSU SEI
 LSU will once again be the host of a Louisiana Small Business Development Center location, beginning October 1. The LSBDC's newest location will be housed within the LSU Stephenson Entrepreneurship Institute of the LSU E. J. Ourso College of Business.
