New President to Speak at Breakfast to Business King Alexander, LSU's new president and chancellor, will be the next speaker in LSU Executive Education's Breakfast to Business series. The event is scheduled for July 23, in room 1125 of the Business Education Complex at LSU. Mangus Selected to Attend Marketing Consortium
Stephanie Mangus, a third-year doctoral student in the E. J. Ourso College of Business Department of Marketing, was nominated by the department faculty as the 2013 American Marketing Association Consortium Fellow. As such, she was selected to attend the 48th AMA Sheth Foundation Doctoral Consortium, held earlier this month, at the University of Michigan.

JPPM Names Folse to Editorial Review Board
Judith Anne Garretson Folse, V. Price LeBlanc Developing Scholar Professor in the Department of Marketing, was recently named to the editorial review board of the Journal of Public Policy & Marketing. The journal, published by the American Marketing Association, addresses the dynamic relationship between marketing and the public interest.

Management PhD Student Wins Award
LSU Rucks Department of Management PhD student Jeffrey Muldoon has received the Outstanding Paper award from the Emerald Literati Network for an article published in the Journal of Management History. Muldoon's paper, "The Hawthorne Legacy: A Reassessment of the Impact of the Hawthorne Studies, 1930-1958," was one of three papers chosen for the honor.
