LSU Flores MBA Program Leaps 20 Spots The LSU Flores MBA Program made a significant 20-spot leap overall in U.S. News & World Report's "America's Best Graduate Schools" ranking for 2014. U.S. News & World Report ranked the LSU Flores MBA Program at 61 overall and 31 among public institutions, ahead of SEC peers Arkansas and Tennessee. Last year, U.S. News & World Report ranked the program 81 overall.

Rogers to Keynote Symposium
Michael Rogers, founder of Practical Futurist and a columnist for MSNBC, will be on campus next week to discuss the virtualization of America and how businesses and organizations must evolve to keep pace. Rogers will be speaking as part of LSU Executive Education's inaugural Executive Excellence Symposium on Friday, March 15. There is still time to register!

Marketing Class to Pitch Idea to NBA Execs
Students in Marketing 4440, which focuses on online marketing, will have the opportunity to deliver strategic social media campaigns to New Orleans Hornets executives. Recently, the Hornets announced a name change and will become the New Orleans Pelicans with the start of the 2013-2014 NBA season. Students will present their ideas Thursday, March 14.

Holden to Kickoff DII Leadership Speaker Series
The Diversity Inclusion Initiative Leadership Speaker Series has been set for this spring and will feature Melvin "Kip" Holden, Blaine Grimes and Katrice Albert. Holden will be the first to appear in the series and will do so Thursday, March 14, at 6:30 p.m. in room 1125 of the Business Education Complex. Refreshments will be offered following Holden's appearance.
